The Sheepshead Fish
The image above is one I drew from several resources (including one from deepoceanworld which is a really cool Instagram site and a diagram of the fish parts) of a Sheepshead Fish or more commonly know as the Convict Fish. I think he looks pretty scary. There was no AI used at all – just Photoshop brushes.The fish took a long time to draw and used the same process as used in the my Is it Worth Taking the Time to Draw with AI Being So Good? blog. A Pattern Stamp Brush set to just a white color was used to create the fish scales (used one that is not available anymore but there are many people who have created them like Coyote Mange Brushes on Deviant Art). The shadowing and highlighting really make the fish shape. Anyway, it is mainly just drawing and painting it in. …… Digital Lady Syd
